M-LeagueIts pretty safe to say that the M-League was a huge success on many levels. Record turnouts, quality banter and varying degrees of competition that EVERYONE was able to take part in every week.

Now, I'm sure you're wondering what exactly is going to be happening for the next M-League season. With the release of FIFA 2010 not too far away, another season on 2009 would be cutting it a bit fine. So, the plan is to run a number of cup nights.

These cup nights will allow me to chop and change the captains for each event before coming to a final decision on who will be the captains for FIFA 2010's first M-League season. I'm working out the dates and will have an announcement on that and how to become a captain within the next week or two. Keep an eye out for more info.

Despite being only at the half way point in the season Circa Division 2 already has the look of a two horse title Race.  SeanKEFC and iExecutioner Xx have both had exceptionald first halfs of the season, between them only dropping 5 points.  A fantastic achievement considering how difficult the FIFA leagues are no matter what division you are pfifa.pnglaying in.  A few more wins for either player will almost certainly guarentee them promotion to Division 1 with their being 3 automatic promotion places up for grabs.

iExecutioner Xx who plays as Heffenheim and SeanKEFC players as Blackburn Rovers, have both decided to stay put until the end of the season, which I guess is hardly suprising considering their form up until the halfway point.  Executioner dropped his only points of the season in a very tight 2-2 draw against Dortmund manager Viva La Fletch, who himself is having a fine season, whilst Sean's only dropped points of the season came when he lost to Executioner 1-0 back in fixture 6.  With the two of them being so close over the first thirteen fixtures, when the return fixture between the two comes round that will be crucial in deciding the destination of the title.  Sean and Executioner have a healthy cushion over third place, but I wouldn't write off sbcstu just yet who if he puts a run of result together in the second half could well be in with a shout of snatching the title from from the current top two, but his results against the top two will be key.

With a a finish of between 4th and 7th being rewarded with a promotion playoff place, this will ensure for a exciting 2nd half to the season.  2nd bottom is only 11 points off a playoff spot, and with three points for a win the table can turn very quickly if anyone put a few wins on the board.  Whatever the outcome Circa Division 2 looks set for a exciting and very tense run in.

fifa.pngMy season so far. NEC got off to a fantastic start to the season, beating ScottieDawgLive in the dying minutes of the opening match by 2 goals to 1, to show some real character and to claim a vital 3 points so early on in the season.  The match  report says all that needs to be said about this Click Here.

Grit and nerves were the order of the day in Fixture 5 as NEC took on Aalborg, it was far from a comfortable match though and a pivotal red card late on in the 2nd half ensured NEC ran out 4-1 winners. The  full truth of this match can be read here Click Here
