XBLN's roving reporter managed to catch up with ToonUltra, the newly crowned champion of Circa82 Division 2. After a tense battle in the 2nd half of the season, ToonUltra managed to edge out both DevilsHairCut01 and WhiskyBarnes123 to lift the title, clinching it by winning his final game, perhaps one of the most unexpected champions across all of the leagues.Read on to get his thoughts and opinions on what has been a fantastic season for him,and the opponents he has done battle with, aswell as his goals for forthcoming season.
Q: First of all congratultaions, how does it feel to win Circa82 Division 2, your first ever trophy on XBLN?
Yeah its feels immensely satisfying to be sitting here as Circa82 Division 2 Champion! My main objective this season was to make the play offs so i am extremely happy with how the season has played out. Hopefully this is the first of many trophies!
Q: How do you explain such a dramatic turnaround in form bearing in mind you finished second bottom last season, to champion this season?
When i was in the league last season i had only just changed from the dark side (PES) and was still just finding my feet with fifa. All that practice looks to of paid off for me this season, however i also have had a better team this season!
Q: Who was the toughest opponent or opponents you squared up against this season?
DevilsHairCut01 and WhiskeyBarnes123 spring to mind. For all the crap devils talks he is quite a hard opponent to play against and i only scraped a 2-2 draw with him in the league and he did put me out of the cup!
My two games (League and Cup) against Whiskey were very enjoyable and a think he would admit that too. End to end games with both teams attacking from start to finish, just how the beautiful game should be played.

Q: On the other hand, who was the opponent who caused you least problems this season?
Even though he isn’t in the league anymore i would have to say JIMortality, i smashed him 4-0 when he was Manchester Utd and then 3-1 when he was Real Madrid, proper slag teams!
Q: So obviously by finishing top, you have been promoted. How do you think you'll get on whhen you make the step up?
My aim for next season is to stay in the division and then use that as a platform to push on the season after. Hopefully also get a good cup run under my belt!
Q: Will you be, if allowed, hanging onto Valencia for next season?
Valencia have a quality all round team and i would be very pleased if i was still in control of them next season. Whoever gets them next season is a very lucky person! Villa, Sliva and Mata make a great front 3!
Q: And lastly, are you looking forward to the merger of the leagues next season to the larger 20 team league?
Yeah very much so, the more games the better i say! Am sure we will really see the strength of the divisions next season with more dedicated people involved within the site!

Congrats Toon best man won. Most fun I have had in a league season. Let the rivalry continue next season
