That's right, after a 6 month absence, the long awaited banterific M-League returns soon. However, this Sunday is not the main event but a testing of the waters, a prequel if you like to the most anticipated event XBLN has ever run. So whats the crack? What are our champions of M-League series 1 up to now?
Buners
The coveted M-League winning captain is still a moany load-mouthed wurzel pookeynoodle and is still disliked across the forums for his disgusting tactics in the final. Now deployed either as an any or LM, his play hasn't improved much, if at all, from 09 and may well have to rely on his tactical pickings again to win anything this time around
Barndan
The other captain who was huge favorite before the final but was let down by his team's inability to gel together. One of the better 1v1 players on this site, he can play anywhere but usually takes any to avoid any shifty defending. Will be looking forward to getting his revenge this time out.
DavoteK
Self proclaimed champion of the M-League, we all know it was only dodgey dealings behind the scenes that got him this title. The argumentative angry sheep shagger lacks the ability on the pitch to create something, but more than makes up for it with his motivation and simple passing, bringing the more able players into the attack and allowing them the space needed to create something.
Medics
Much the same a Davo, but prefers a deeper role to hide his poor finishing. Plays the beautiful game how it should be played: Short, simple and quick. If you don't do this, you will by the time he's finished with you.
Dx I Jaminator
The most greedy player on XBLN, I sometimes wonder if he even has an A button. In fairness, recently he has looked for the pass a little more, but not a lot. Mind you, give him even half a chance, and my word will he gobble it up. 16 goals in 10 games last time out – the top scorer, and his also XBLN's club top scorer with a ridiculous 230 odd goals.
ARightTouch85
Another one of the Prem slags, played the final as captain for Buners, allowing easy access to the slaggy formations of 09. Now abandoned these formations, he plays largely as any or striker and looks for the offload to serve up a tap in on a plate for his team.
RFC Buncey
A striker turned CM, the hollywood passes of old have all but gone and replaced by a simple game, bringing in the rest of the team. Still has a tendancy to gift the ball away and still can't resist the occasional surge forward and spectacular shot,
So make sue you are there on Sunday for the Circa vs Crown M-League showdown of Dooooooooom!
