TweetAn exciting, lively and sometimes contriversial part of the FIFA season is nearly here and for some of you I’m sure it cant come quick enough. The transfer window makes a welcome return after a short absence.
In past seasons there has been both a pre-season and mid season transfer window but this season the XBLN community voted to restrict it to a single mid-season window which meant that whatever team everyone ended up with during the pre-season random draw, they were stuck with... Until Now.
The transfer window opens for business at 7:30pm on Sunday 17th January and closes at 10pm on Wednesday 20th January, and inbetween these dates there are a few ways to go about changing your team. These are al follows.

WAYS TO CHANGE YOUR TEAM
1. You and a fellow league member can agree to a straight swap. One of you must post a thread and the deal must be confirmed by the other party to rubber stamp the deal. This can only be done if the two of you are in the same grouping allowing you to swap. The three groups are Division 2, Division 1 and Champ/Prem.
2. You may state an interest in a team from the unused list. If nobody else states an interest within 24hours from the time you stated in interest then the team is yours, and you relinquish your current team,
3. If you state interest in a team and one or more other people also express a interest in that team, then a bidding war will start with the team going to a auction, with the team bidding the most CGY getting the team.
Please note that you are only allowed one swap in this window so make sure you use your one move wisely.

WHATS IT GONNA COST?
- To take part in the transfer window, there will be an administration fee of 100CGY
- To complete a swap, it will cost a further 100 CGY, each.
- To state interest in a team, it will cost you 50CGY. As per previous windows, you can only state interest in one team. The moment you state interest in a team, you will have that CGY deducted by an admin.
- If mulitple parties state interest, then it will become a bidding war.
- If you lose that bidding war you DO NOT get your 50CGY back.
ACQUIREMENT PERIODS
The window opens on Sunday at 7:30pm. Any Unused teams that have multiple parties stating interest in them will go to auction and close;
- Monday 10pm
- Tuesday 10pm
- Wednesday 9pm
- Wednesday 10pm.
The window closes on Wednesday at 10pm.
WHAT ABOUT MY UNPLAYED GAMES?
If you change your team in the window, fixtures 1 up to and including fixture 13 must be played using your previous team. Fixtures 14 up to and including fixture 26 must be played with your new team. Any mishaps involving this will see your opponent credited with a 3-0 victory and you possibly getting 3 pts deducted, depending on how much of a c*nt your admin is.

Hmm, so many rules. Love it. Good stuff should be a good transfer window.
