After 13 fixtures and the transfer window, the table has taken shape. After many bitchfests and dodgey dealings, we have the teams for this last sprint to the finish, and the ultimate title in XBLN leagues – The slag title. Lets start from the top.
Stev3n86 - 32Pts
Team - Derby
Steven won last seasons Premiership division, and so far is on course to defend his title. Only dropping 7 points so far and scoring 39, he is ruthless in front of goal and can shut opponents out with the shear weight of his attacks. Starting like a rocket, beating Medics 8-0 and coming very close against your's truly in an epic 4-4 draw, Steven has fallen off form a bit recently, only just winning his last 3 games 1-0. Will he bottle it this time, or march on to take the title? Games against Elnino, Tier and Barndan will decide.
xElnino9x - 27Pts
Team - Vicenza
Elnino has been the surprise package this season. Like Steven, he has created chance after chance, and converted the majority of them with ease. Taking points off the other top players will be crucial with elnino's bid to take the title. My match, ended 3-2 to elnino, but it was a closely fought affair.
Tiernobyl - 25Pts
Team - Aberdeen
4th season in the Fifa leagues, and the fourth time he has had Gayberdeen, and the fourth time he is in the running for a League title. Only thing denying him his first title is his ego. Will be looking to improve himself over the next few weeks and really push for his first title, with the games against the other top players key to his success.
Rising Star 89 - 25Pts
Team - Watford
Slag of the highest order, and thought he'd prove otherwise by sticking with Falkirk. Fell on his arse, so he's swapped to one of the better teams in the league. Expect him to push himself up with his new slags, and the game against Steven will be a '6 pointer,' potentially a title decider.
Barndan - 24Pts
Team - Sheff. Wed.
Started out with possibly the best team in the league in Livorno, and it's worked wonders. With his slag formations, he has scored the 2nd most goals, but his inability to defend has let him down at times, especially against some of the better players. Highlight so far is beating Tier and steven, but now he has deslagged, can he keep he form up and really challenge steve?
Now the relegation battle. No-one is safe yet, but with half a season left to go and quite a lot of swapping down the bottom end, anything can and will happen.
B3njamin91 - 20Pts
Team - FC Ingolstadt
Taking over from Swish, he has had out together some convincing performances, losing or winning only by the odd goal or two. Opted not to swap in the transfer window, and still has a game left against Tier that could see him jump up the table, maybe even giving him an outside shot at the title (or give Tier a better shot).
Chairfloor - 16Pts
Team - Burnley
So far hasn't hit form. Struggled along with what he claims to be the weakest side in the league (his fault for swapping!!) and the majority of his games were won or lost by the odd goal. My encounter, however, ended in a 5-1 thrashing.. And I scored first!! Highlight so far has to be that and beating his bitter rival Barndan 5-1
P1R Aboosive - 16Pts
Team - Elche
Boose has had a pretty decent start, dropping most of his points to the title contenders, he has generally kept to himself, fought all the way to the end and usually came out on top with Elche. Also been around the leagues for some time, Boose has been in the Prem for ages, so knows how to cope with pressure.
Medics - 15Pts
Team - Greuther Furth
Good, solid no-nonsense player who has been around since the PES days. Had a very shaky start to this season with an 8-0 thrashing at the hands of Steven and a loss to Swish and myself to start with, has picked up form recently with his Germans and will look to continue on with this. Otherwise Medics may find himself fighting for survival.
DX I Buncinator - 12Pts
Team - Plymouth
First of the newbs in the Prem, started with what I would claim is the worst team in the league, I've found it tough. Thought I was going to be fine at half time against steven, but my defense went to sleep, and went on to lose 8-4(!!!) after extra time. Swapped to Plymouth to try and get some accuracy up front, and a defense that doesn't fall asleep after 60 minutes
Baiiles - 11Pts
Team - Cordoba
Promoted last season from 2nd place, Baiiles has had a horrid start. First experience of the Prem tactics and it's not a nice one. His first win coming against J mid way through, this triggered a drawing frenzy for Baiiles. Now more determined to avenge his crap start, Baiiles has it all to play for, but can he gather enough points to pull himself out of the drop zone?
Blondedan - 10Pts
Team - Hibernian
After winning the Championship, Blondey has had a disappointing start to the season with Spanish Rayo Vallecano but only the woodwork and some shaky defending cost him fair results. Only winning the first and last fixtures so far, Blondey is hoping his swap to the mighty Hibs will bring him some luck with the frame and begin his long haul to survival.
Jmcr - 9Pts
Team - Crystal Palace
XBLN's resident Portugueser, J has been around for a while, and last season even tried to get relegated (didn't manage though) It looks grim for J and his Crystal Palace. Opted not to change and hopes that the English team will eventually start grinding out results. No slag tactics here, just good old fashioned fisting.
Gypsymuffin - 8Pts
Team - Hearts
After being in the league for 3 years, this has been Gypsy's worst so far. Outplayed by the better players in the league, he has kept it tight against the others, but most of the time falling short due to the lack of firepower in Motherwell. Still convinced that he will stay up, and is hoping the change to Hearts will trigger a bit of form.
I also don't use slag formations
