fifa.pngMy season so far. NEC got off to a fantastic start to the season, beating ScottieDawgLive in the dying minutes of the opening match by 2 goals to 1, to show some real character and to claim a vital 3 points so early on in the season.  The match  report says all that needs to be said about this Click Here.
 
Grit and nerves were the order of the day in Fixture 5 as NEC took on Aalborg, it was far from a comfortable match though and a pivotal red card late on in the 2nd half ensured NEC ran out 4-1 winners. The  full truth of this match can be read here Click Here
 
Guts and Determination were needed to ensure a single point was earned from fixture 8 against a resilient Cardiff side, Rommedahl finally equilising after 88 minutes, redeeming himself after squandering many chances throughout the match.

The game of the season so far though for NEC came in fixture 12 against table topper HotDogBoy and his magical Malaga. This match had Everything and was played at a truly frantic pace. NEC raced into a shock 2-0 lead and hung on till half time, but Malaga came out fired up in the 2nd half and the game managed to somehow finish 4-4 with NEC hanging on for their dear lives to earn just a single point…. Crazy stuff.
