Sunday night saw the culmination of weeks of banter (maybe even years) coming to a head, in the ULTIMATE Showdown; FIFA 10v10, Grumbo vs Davo. The event was open to all XBLN members and saw a pretty decent turnout of 34 members. Now, obviously, even FocusedDeano can work out that 34 people ain't gonna fit into a lobby of 20. So Grumbo and Davo appointed deputy captains. Grumbo and Davo would face off in one lobby for three fixtures and then finish off the confrontation in the second lobby.

So, all the members that signed up, were entered into a draw/draft, with Grumbo getting first pick even after Davo publicly accused him of fixing the coin toss. Each captain would take it in turns to pick an XBLN member. Apparently, Grumbo got flustered after Davo started picking every choice that he had in mind, and this led to some rash decisions, meaning Grumbo was already rattled going into the fixtures.
